don v2.0

Our trip to the California Academy of Science in SF. It was fun and very interesting but in my opinio, didn't live up to the hype. We also got there late and didn't get to go in the fancy exhibits like the rain forest dome nor the planetarium. Oh ya, parking was horrible to say the least.

6/13 Oakland Zoo

Went to the Oakland Zoo today covered with germy children. Yuck. We do not like kids or teenagers, especially loud ones.
There were lots of cool and interesting animals, a good subsitute to the SF Zoo if you don't like the city driving, not to mention the $5 toll!

Anyway, the most interesting animal by far were the monkeys - the chimpanzees and Siamang. It's really amazing how human-like they are. Their mannerisms and how they interact with each other was really fascinating. Also, as gross the bugs were, they were kind of interesting. Some of them were hard to take pics of because I couldn't even look at them lol

5/31 V's 3rd birthday

This was V's 3rd birthday party. It consisted of a jumper house, lots of food, cake (or tart) and a poor Pug.

5/25 Giants game on Memorial Day

Giants vs Braves on Memorial day. Awesome (near) front-row seats behind home plate. The home team won.

5/23 More from grilling day

Some koi in the pond from grilling day. They are pretty fat.. I wonder how koi tastes like.
